Mystery Spot

Ana, Omar, and I went recently went to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz. Omar had never been (and this trip was also made for Andrew and Steve because they have never been there either but ended up not making the trip). I think this place is a cool place to go to and I forgot how fun it was. The tour guide was great and we all got to make fools of ourselves in front of each other. After the Mystery Spot, we ate at my favorite Santa Cruz pizza place, the Upper Crust. Their pizza is so good! After that we hopped onto one and drove to Davenport. Its an awesome beach with great tide pools. We got to explore the tide pools but only found the usual animals. Last time I was there I found a 20 pointed sea star and a sea slug. Its a really fun place and I discovered that there are small caves there too!

"I love the ocean." See the waves behind Omar? They ended up crashing into the rocks we were standing on and if Omar hadnt moved, he would have been soaking wet. We all moved out of the way because we saw these rumbling waves crashing right towards us.

The walls of the cave. I was fascinated by the colors that have been created by the minerals passing over the rock. This is all natural light. I didnt use flash (which can be the devil), there was a lot of light bouncing into the cave which gave me these nice abstract photos

The Dredg Concert

Dredg had a mini concert and meet and greet at the Streetlight Records in San Jose. I went with a few of my friends and I only remember one of these pictures being taken but I thought I would put them up. I didnt put up concert footage because you cant see the band in the video and I took the videos just for sound.
This night was also a very eventful night... a lot of stuff happened (he who i shall not speak of) but lets just forget that and remember the fun parts. Andrews brother almost getting kill to rescue his skateboard, then it getting runned over by a car a half hour later. Seeing Flushed away w my friends, hanging out in the parking lot (like usual).
It was a fun concert, I was the only one who enjoyed it. Dredg also signed my cd insert so that was exciting. It was cool that they did this little concert
