Los Angeles Continued
Day two
Yay! I've been albe to get back to these... though photobucket has changed their layout so I can blog as easily as I used to be able to. grr.
So L.A., day two. We went to Ana's school because she had to turn in some papers (which were due til the first day of shool). We were able to see what she would be doing in the near future. There were students practicing on patients in the school! It was cool to see. Then we explored the campus a little. We saw the food center, the swimming pool, which looked so inviting since it was so hot out side. Then when we were to look for apartments we found our selves lost on the highway and wound up back in Santa Monica. It was so much fun there playing in the water. There was a shell of a lobster on the shore that intrigued us all. We even gave it a body. After that we drove to Univeral City Walk and ate dinner there. We also had our second concert of our trip which we watched while we ate. After dinner, we walked around Universal and then went back to the hotel to watch, I believe, Bend it Like Beckham.

Ana (and us) at her new school, USC School of Dentistry. At the school, there was a teacher on the wall of fame (or something like that) named Harry Potter!

The beach in Santa Monica on Hwy 1.

There was a stair case leading down to the shore and the waves were crashing on the rocks where he was standing. He wanted to get a picture of the ocean splashing behind him and in the process of doing so, he got the back of his clothes all wet.

This is the shell of the lobster we found. It was really cool to find and seeing that his eyes were still on the shell.

The inside

The body Omar drew for it. Right after I took this picture, the tide came in and washed it away.

Look! A lizard!

The other concert we saw that weekend.

The Hard Rock Cafe guitar. Mmmmmm
