Redding

Our trip to Redding. Why go to Redding? What's there? Well we decided that whenever we go on trips we always go south. We wanted to find out what there is to do north. Amazingly, a lot of things. California had a lot to offer. We went on a over night trip so we didnt have time to do everything we wanted to because Redding and Mt Shasta has a lot of things to see. We wanted to go to the cave and the waterfalls that are in Whiskey town but all we had time for was the Shasta Sunset Dinner Train and the Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The trip we took was fun but short. It was something we needed to do and Jacque, we should do this again!

Driving to Mt Shasta and we found the city of Anderson!

This is the Shasta Sunset Dinner train. We had a elegant dinner and a vaudville type show. I forget the first name they had for it but the other name they had for the play was "The Case of the Horny Beaver" and if that doesnt tell you where their mind set it, I don't know what does. The hero of the story was Chuck Hardwood ( I think) and the villan was Ima Deforester.

Our mis-matched decorated room. It had like mexican style furinture with country style wallpaper. The colors on the wall didnt even match the wall paper.

The Sundial Bridge at the Turtle Bay Museum. This bridge is so pretty and around the bridge are time marks so it actually tells the time (during the correct season)

Of the Turtle Bay Exploration Park, the pictures I have is only a glimps of all that is there. They have a huge gardern that we didnt get to explore due to the time and also we had to narrow what we wanted to see at the museum.
