Monterey

The day after the mystery spot, Omar, Ana, and I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I have had a craving to go there since about a week before Thanksgiving. I was so excited to go even though I have been there so many times. I also wanted to be able to just walk around Monterey and go the museum which had a Weston show going on but sadly the museum is closed on Mondays.

More jellies! They are really had to photograph because they are always moving and you are in a very low light setting, but I did my best.

















I was sooooo excited to see that they were able to bring back the Sun Fish. There hasn't been one since the exhibit opened and the first sun fish didnt do well. I never thought they would bring one back. I really find that fish amazing (along with the tuna) because you see a picture of it and when you finally see it in person, you really see how big that fish is. It's also so weird looking. I guess thats why I like it so much. It was the mere size of it that awed me the first time. It made my day to see one again.

Tha birds. This is another exhibit I like. I just wish I was able to pet the birds. Another favorite exhibit is the touch pool, where you can pat the bat rays. They're both favorites!
