Stephsteph's Blog: Yosemite!!

I should really learn the saying "less is more" becuase I probably put too many on here, but I have 146 images in all and i only did about 40 so I did narrow it down some! ;) Yosemite was a blast, we had so much fun; relaxing in the mountains; playing in the snow. We went to Yosemite because Omar had never seen the snow before and since he loves Yosemite so much, it was just a perfect idea! I drove up friday and arrived in Yosemite around 3pm. When we entered the park, we pulled off to the side of the road and played in the snow, trying to make snowballs, and dancing on the frozen river. After that we stopped at El Capitan and climbed on the frozen waterfall, bridalviel falls. That night we had dinner at the pizza place near our Stoneman cabin at Curry Village and played phase 10.
The next day Omar tried to stuff his mouth full of gummi bears (pictures not shown) and we had breakfast, again the pizza place. Then we made our way to Mirror Lake getting distracted on the way. The lake was goregous, with a golden sandy bottem that harmonized with the golden afternoon sun. We spent the whole day at Mirror Lake, walking around for hours. Afterwards, we didn't want to eat at the pizza place agian (it was really good pizza though), so we went to the main store and were able to buy food supplies there. We went back to Curry Village and had our picnic at the pizza place! After dinner, we went to the cabin and played a drinking game. We also walked around outside, I saw a cute fuzzy animal, and people do have stories about me from that night ;). The next day we went to the Ansel Adams Gallery and the museum and made any site seeing stops on the way home. It was a really good, fun trip with excellent people and friends to travel with!
